COLORADO BED BUG CONTROL

Termite Control

Termites are getting to be more and more of a problem in Colorado and Eastern Utah.

In the last 10 years we’ve had slightly warmer winters than usual, and this is helping termite colonies to be more successful because there is not as much winter kill. In Colorado we have both subterranean termites and dry-wood termites. Termites can cause a lot of damage if left untreated.

The good new is that if you have termites you will probably notice them. They look similar to ants. Every mature colony will produce flying termites in the spring and sometimes the fall. This is called a swarm and is usually pretty noticeable. If you see anything that looks like a lot of flying ants around your house, it would be a good idea to call us and ask us to do an inspection.

Penguin is extremely effective at treating termites. Our treatment success rate is unequivocally 100%.

We have two kinds of TERMITE TREATMENT:

Liquid treatments: This is a very quick and effective way of treating termites. The basic concept is that we treat the soil all the way around the house. We use the absolute best products on the market.

Monitoring Stations: This is a more economical way to treat termites. The drawback is that it may take 6-12 months to entirely eradicate an existing colony. Because of the time needed to get rid of a colony, stations may not be the best curative treatment solution, but they’re a great way of providing preventative treatments.
